🙏 पाठ-विधि: मंगलवार व शनिवार को हनुमान चालीसा का पाठ विशेष फलदायी माना गया है। स्नान कर, दीप जलाकर, श्रद्धा से नित्य पाठ करने से भय, बाधा व नकारात्मक शक्तियाँ दूर होती हैं और बल-बुद्धि की वृद्धि होती है। पाठ के आरम्भ व अंत में "जय श्री राम" का स्मरण करें।

Opening Dohas: Cleansing the mirror of my mind with the dust of my Guru's lotus-feet, I sing the pure glory of Sri Raghubar (Rama), the bestower of the four fruits of life. Knowing my body to be devoid of intellect, I remember the Son of the Wind (Hanuman) — grant me strength, wisdom and knowledge, and remove my sorrows and impurities. 1–4 (His glory & form): Victory to Hanuman, ocean of wisdom and virtue; victory to the lord of the monkeys who illumines the three worlds. Messenger of Rama, abode of matchless strength, known as the son of Anjani and the son of the Wind. Great hero, mighty as a thunderbolt, dispeller of ill-thought and companion of good sense. Golden-hued, splendidly adorned, with earrings and curly hair. 5–8 (Attributes & devotion): A mace and a flag shine in His hands, the sacred thread of munja grass upon His shoulder. Son of Shankara (Kesari's son), of great might and glory, worshipped by the whole world. Learned, virtuous and exceedingly clever, ever eager to do Rama's work. He delights in hearing the Lord's deeds; Rama, Lakshmana and Sita dwell in His heart. 9–11 (Deeds in the Ramayana): Taking a tiny form He appeared before Sita; taking a fearsome form He burnt Lanka. Assuming a mighty form He slew the demons and accomplished Lord Ramachandra's tasks. He brought the Sanjivani herb and revived Lakshmana; Sri Raghubir embraced Him with joy. 12–15 (Praise by all): Raghupati praised Him greatly, saying "You are as dear to me as my brother Bharata." The thousand-mouthed (Shesha) sings your fame — so saying, Sri Rama held Him to His heart. Sanaka and the sages, Brahma and the great munis, Narada, Saraswati and the King of serpents (Sheshnag); Yama, Kubera and the guardians of the quarters — even poets and scholars cannot fully describe your glory. 16–19 (More feats): You did great favour to Sugriva, uniting him with Rama and restoring his kingdom. Vibhishana heeded your counsel and became lord of Lanka, as all the world knows. The sun, thousands of yojanas away, you swallowed thinking it a sweet fruit. Placing the Lord's ring in your mouth you leapt across the ocean — no wonder in that. 20–23 (His power): Every difficult task in the world becomes easy by your grace. You are the guardian at Rama's door; none enters without your leave. All comforts are found in your shelter; with you as protector there is no fear of anyone. You alone can withstand your own splendour — at your roar the three worlds tremble. 24–27 (Protection & healing): Ghosts and evil spirits dare not come near when your name, O great hero, is uttered. All disease is destroyed and every pain removed by constantly repeating the name of brave Hanuman. Hanuman frees from every trouble those who remember Him in thought, deed and word. Rama, the ascetic king, is supreme, yet all His tasks you carried out. 28–31 (Boons He grants): Whoever brings any wish to you obtains its fruit in abundant measure. Your majesty prevails through all four ages; your glory shines throughout the world. You are the guardian of saints and sages, the destroyer of demons, the beloved of Rama. Giver of the eight siddhis and nine treasures — such a boon Mother Janaki (Sita) granted you. 32–36 (The path to Rama): You hold the elixir of Rama's devotion; may you ever remain the servant of Raghupati. Through singing your praises one attains Rama and forgets the sorrows of countless births. At life's end one goes to Rama's abode, and is thereafter known as a devotee of Hari. Even without worshipping other gods, serving Hanuman brings all happiness. Every trouble is cut away and all pain erased for whoever remembers the mighty Hanuman. 37–40 (Surrender): Victory, victory, victory to Lord Hanuman! Bestow your grace as my own Guru. Whoever recites this a hundred times is freed from bondage and gains great bliss. Whoever reads this Hanuman Chalisa attains perfection — Lord Shiva (Gaureesa) is witness. Tulsidas, ever the servant of Hari, prays: O Lord, make my heart your dwelling. Closing Doha: O Son of the Wind, remover of afflictions, embodiment of auspiciousness — together with Rama, Lakshmana and Sita, dwell in my heart, O King of gods. Phalashruti (benefit): Regular, faithful recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa — especially on Tuesdays and Saturdays — grants courage and strength, dispels fear, disease and obstacles, and draws the protective grace of Sri Hanuman.
