1: May the sidelong play of the eyes of Lakshmi, the auspicious deity, grant me all that is auspicious — that glance which rests upon the body of Hari like a thrill of ornament, as a bee-maiden clings to the blossoming tamala tree, and which has taken all prosperity under its sway.2: May She who was born of the ocean grant me wealth — She whose enchanting eyes move again and again over the face of Murari (Vishnu), held in check by love and modesty, like a row of bees hovering over a great blue lotus.3: May the consort of Him who reclines on the serpent (Vishnu) bring me prosperity — She whose half-closed, tender, lash-fringed eyes gaze in joy upon Mukunda, the ever-blissful, unwinking source of bliss who is beyond the sway of Kama.4: May the garland of sidelong glances of Lakshmi, dweller in the lotus, bring me well-being — that glance which shines like a sapphire-blue necklace upon the Kaustubha-adorned chest of Vishnu, granting every desire even to the Lord Himself.5: May the daughter of Bhrigu (Lakshmi), the adorable form of the Mother of all the worlds, grant me blessings — She who shines like a streak of lightning upon the dark, cloud-like chest of Vishnu, slayer of Kaitabha.6: May that slow, languid, gentle half-glance of the ocean-born maiden fall upon me here — the glance by whose very power Kama first attained his exalted station in the auspicious Vishnu, slayer of Madhu.7: May the half-glance of Indira (Lakshmi), akin to the heart of a blue lotus, rest upon me for a moment — that glance skilled in bestowing the dazzling throne of Indra, king of gods, and a source of great joy even to Vishnu, foe of Mura.8: May the glance of Her who is seated on the lotus grant me the prosperity I desire — that compassion-moistened look by which even the wisest devotees easily win heaven; a glance radiant like the heart of a joyously blooming lotus.9: May the compassion-laden rain-cloud that is the eye of Narayana's beloved shower streams of the water of wealth upon this dejected, helpless little bird (myself), long driving far away the scorching heat of my evil deeds.10: Salutation to Her, the youthful consort of the one Guru of the three worlds — She who abides in the play of creation, preservation and dissolution, invoked as the Goddess of Speech, as the beauty of Garuda-bannered Vishnu, as Shakambhari, and as the beloved of moon-crested Shiva.11: Salutation to Her as Shruti, mother of the fruit of auspicious deeds; as Rati, ocean of lovely virtues; as Shakti, dwelling in the hundred-petalled lotus; as Pushti, the beloved of Purushottama.12: Salutation to Her whose face resembles the lotus; to the one born from the ocean of milk; to the sister of the moon and of nectar; to the beloved of Narayana.13: Salutation to Her seated on a golden lotus pedestal; to the mistress of the earth; to the one full of compassion for the gods and all; to the beloved of Vishnu, wielder of the Sharnga bow.14: Salutation to the Goddess, daughter of Bhrigu; to Her who dwells upon the chest of Vishnu; to Lakshmi, dweller in the lotus; to the beloved of Damodara.15: Salutation to Her as radiance, the lotus-eyed; as prosperity, mother of the worlds; to the one worshipped by the gods and all; to the beloved of Krishna, son of Nanda.16: O lotus-eyed Mother, may my salutations to You — which bestow wealth, delight all the senses, grant the glory of empire, and are ever ready to remove sins — forever hold me worthy and honoured.17: I worship You, sovereign of Murari's heart, whose mere worship through Your sidelong glance, offered by a devotee in word, deed and mind, spreads out for him all objects of wealth and prosperity.18: O Goddess dwelling in the lotus, lotus in hand, resplendent with the purest white garments, fragrance and garlands; O beloved of Hari, O lovely one who brings prosperity to the three worlds — be gracious to me.19: At dawn I bow to the Mother of all the worlds, consort of the Lord of every realm, daughter of the ocean of nectar — She whose limbs are bathed by the pure, lovely waters of the celestial Ganga poured from golden pitchers held aloft by the elephants of the directions.20: O Kamala, beloved of the lotus-eyed Vishnu, cast upon me Your sidelong glances rippling with waves of compassion; look upon me — the foremost and most genuine vessel of Your mercy among the destitute.Phalashruti (21): Those who daily praise Rama (Lakshmi) — embodiment of the three Vedas and Mother of the three worlds — with these hymns become endowed with abundant virtue, blessed with great fortune, and their hearts illumined with wisdom.Recite in the Hinglish tab for correct pronunciation. 🙏
